Custom Color Thinline!

This 1971 Fender Telecaster Thinline was finished in Hot Pink, one of the six custom colors for the 1971 NAMM show.

This particular guitar came into the shop about 10 years ago, with the mahogany body completely stripped of finish. The only evidence of the original hot pink finish was hiding in the pickup cavities.

It has now come back a decade later, professionally refinished in Panther Pink! It still retains it's original pink pearloid pickguard, along with the original pickups and hardware. The neck stamp is 3MAR71B and the pots are dated to the 34th week of 1966.

The neck pickup was re-wound by Tom Brantley, the nut has been replaced with a bone one. The saddles have been upgraded with a Music City Groovemaster set. The originals are in the original hard shell case.
